Wax Hitler lost  its head in Berlin
July 9, 17:01 CET
Museums (ArtBase) - Madame Tussauds said it will repair the wax figure of Adolf Hitler beheaded by a visitor over the weekend and return it to its new Berlin museum as soon as possible. Last Saturday the wax figure had its head ripped off soon after the opening of a new branch of Madame Tussauds in Berlin on Saturday, police said

Police arrested a 41-year-old Berliner who allegedly shouted "No more war!," on suspicion of damaging property and causing bodily harm. One of the museum employees was slightly injured.
The presence of the Nazi dictator's likeness in the new museum led to criticism in German media over recent weeks, but the museum said Monday that Hitler's role in German history could not be denied. In order not to give the impression that Hitler was in any way a figure to be revered, he appears as a broken man in a mock-up of his bunker just before final defeat at the end of World War II.
